Today, as I meditated, I learnt something from the author & narrator of Daily Calm, Tamara Levitt. She talked about community. I found it very striking as it relates to me. Community is a place where I can find supports, lessons and wisdoms. As mental health sufferers, it is very important to discover a community you can belong to. Why, you may ask? It is because having people with the same condition as you, you can relate to them, share your experience, learn from theirs, and most important support each other.

Of course, you need to be active to find the right community. Ask around! and you have to be willing to open up to people in the community. Thus you first and foremost you must accept that you have mental health issue and own. You must do it in your time as people have different paces. Once you feel you belong to a community, you are going to grow as you have more wisdoms compared to prior joining a community, you are going to help each other, make friends, and eventually you will find peace and tranquillity knowing you are not alone and that is the most important goals. So my advice is that go out there when it the right time to go!
